The Retired Fire Fighters of Yakima is an organization of retired and active personnel of the City of Yakima Fire Department along with other interested members. The size of the organization is around 100 members.

We meet on the first Monday of the month for breakfast and a business meeting at Waffles Caffe' 1510 North 1st at 0830 hours. We also meet monthly on the third Wednesday at the Powerhouse Restaurant, N. 40th and Powerhouse at 1800 hours.

The Yakima Fire Department is located in a city of 72,000 people in the State of Washington with five fire station, responding to approximately 8,000 alarms annually.

* Next Breakfast meeting is Mon. July 7th, 2008 @ 8:30am at Waffles Caffe' 1510 N. 1st St in Yakima.

* Next Dinner is Wed. July 16th, 2008 @ 6:00pm at the Powerhouse Restaurant, N. 40th and Powerhouse.
